Carbon-fiber camera beam for superior mounting stability on GR series vehicles. Ideal for track day recording while keeping the passenger seat fully available.
Vertical Pillars: The GRY headliner is too soft for secure pillar fixation. Additionally, these pillars often obstruct access to items on the rear seats or floor.
Rear Window Crossbars: Visibility through the rear window is often blocked or limited by the positioning of the front seats.
Overhead Bars with Extended Arms: Long, front-extending arms create excessive leverage and mechanical moment, leading to instability and shaking under vibration.
Seat-Back Mounts: Attaching directly to the seat back results in an unstable base due to the soft, compressible surface of the upholstery.
Front-Side Headrest Mounts: These designs occupy the passenger seat space, reducing cabin comfort and utility.
Recline the seat and remove the headrest from the passenger chair. Place the gaps of the brackets at the inner sides, and slide the brackets to the steel legs.
Don't fasten the bolts at this step.
(Gen2-only) The Gen2 headrest won't lock up at the 1st click due to the locations of the dents at the right leg are different from those on the gen1 headrest.
Paste a piece of tape at the inner side of the left leg to increase the friction while the headrest is slid into the chair.
Slide the carbon fiber tube into the brackets.
Gently fasten all 4 bolts but don't tighten them too much. Once the components don't rotate, the torque is enough.
Insert the heatrest back and put the camera mount onto the beam.
